The instructor was very knowledgeable of the material, but even more important was that he had many career experiences with presenting and applying the material to relateable industries and projects (manufacturing). This seemed to allow for a better flow of questions (on-topic and off-topic) since the instructor was able to visualize the process/process with very little explaination in order to answer the question(s). The material seems to be broken up into very manageable sections instead of lumping all of the DMAIC tools into 5 sections.

The real-world applicable stories! Ed has so much experience and at anytime we had trouble understanding a concept or how it could be applied, he told a story of how he has used it in the past. It was a lot to take in for a week, but the applicable real-world stories were the most relevant to me.
